We all have a piece of scratched up furniture! Look what a few minutes can do to restore the beauty! I cleaned this chair and then applied No Pain Gel Stain in Cedar - right over the existing finish! Isn’t she lovely now? 😍

Furniture wax! Ugh!
This is what old fashioned waxes do to furniture. Layer upon layer that is almost impossible to remove. This chair has been cleaned with TSP, and a commercial degreaser. The wax is still there. You can see where I scratched WAX with my fingernail. It’s going to take mineral spirits or denatured alcohol to get down to the actual wood so we can restore this beautiful chair.
