A special sewing milestone happened at our shop during the Iowa Shop Hop! ❤️✂️

These two young girls were out shop hopping with their grandma and chose our store for their very first fabric shop hopping experience.

As Grandma shared:

“They ‘hopped’ one store, yours! Their first time fabric shopping. This is their first sewing project on a ‘real’ sewing machine!”

The girls picked out their own fabrics and proudly completed their very first pillowcases. 🩷 We're so honored to have been a small part of this memory and hope this is just the beginning of a lifelong love of sewing.

Way to go, girls! We can't wait to see what you create next!

If you've been curious about making a quilt coat but weren't sure where to start, this workshop is for you. Theresa will guide you through the process over two days, helping you transform a favorite quilt into a one-of-a-kind jacket.

Thank you for making the trip to Jefferson, for sharing your stories, showing us your projects, and letting us be part of your Shop Hop adventure.

We met so many wonderful people over the past two months, and every conversation reminded us why we love being part of the quilting community.

This morning's Java & Juice gave us a chance to hear more about the incredible workshops and classes happening at The Stitch and how they bring quilting enthusiasts from all over the country (yes, country!!) to Jefferson.
