Peace Place Thrift Store is a social entrepreneurship program of Peace Place, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization striving to provide safe shelter and supportive s
ervices to victims and survivors of domestic violence. Peace Place Thrift Store helps to fund programs and services of Peace Place, Inc., such as advocacy, safety planning, housing, legal advocacy, as well as social change efforts. With approximately 10,000 square feet of merchandise including clothing, books, games, furniture, household items and more, everyone is sure to find something at a great price. All profits go to fund Peace Place, Inc., a domestic violence program and shelter. All profits made by Peace Place Thrift Store go towards funding the many programs of Peace Place such as shelter, outreach, transitional housing, advocacy and more. Additionally, Peace Place survivors receive donated merchandise directly from the Thrift Store to help make their transitions easier. Here at Peace Place Thrift Store we care about the environment! We offer a recycling program to help keep some things out of the landfills. We take clothing material (even stained or torn no blood stained items), shoes, purses, belts, hats, books, stuffed animals and metal items. Just box or bag your items mark them as recycle, then just drop them off at the store. All process from the recycling program go right back to the Peace Place Inc. to help fund the many services they offer.
