Adding a handmade tray to the Christmas cottage today, then filling it with all the little things you’d want for a cozy afternoon by the fire. ☕🍪

I love this part of making a miniature: watching a room start to feel like a place someone could really settle in. If you spot dried glue on my hands in the reel, consider it proof that the tray was very freshly made. 😂

I bought a thrifted merino wool sweater… for the mice. 🐭

A little hot water, some felting, a pair of scissors and suddenly one sweater is becoming the coziest collection of tiny throws and blankets.

Because apparently this is who I am now. 😂

Tiny things. Cozy details. And absolutely no regrets.

I spotted this little greenhouse on Facebook Marketplace sometime this summer for less than $20, and just knew immediately that it needed to come home with me. 😂

My plan was to make it a little seasonal play piece—something I could change with the seasons just because it’s fun. First step of fall flower shop/pumpkin patch… I’ve just been holding off for the weather to cool, but apparently there’s no more waving. Today’s the day to make it happen. Here comes the mums, pumpkins, dried flowers and a slightly overgrown little greenhouse.

It’s nowhere near finished, and I’m not even entirely sure what it’s becoming yet. A flower shop? A greenhouse? Something in between?

For now, I’m just enjoying playing. 🍂

Sometimes the tiny things don’t need a business plan.

Turns out, happiness looks a lot like mice, miniature rooms, ridiculous little chairs, and whatever tiny thing I decide absolutely must exist next.

1,000 friends on the Lane! 🩷🩷🩷

Well… came as a shock!

What started as a creative hobby at my kitchen table making minis for my daughter slowly turned into Clovermint Lane—a tiny little business built around miniature rooms, cozy beds, mouse houses, and all the small details I love making.

And then one little reel took off.

In just a few days, this little corner of Instagram grew from around 300 friends to 1,000. I’m still a bit stunned by that.

To everyone who watched, shared, commented, followed along, or simply stopped for a minute to enjoy this tiny world—thank you. Every kind comment and bit of encouragement has made this unexpected little adventure even sweeter.

I’m so glad you found this little Lane on Instagram. There are lots more little stories to come.

A tiny cabin retreat filled with warm wood, cozy corners and all the little things Papa might need.

I think my favorite part of making miniature spaces is imagining the lives that happen inside them. This one feels like a place for slow mornings, good books and staying awhile.
