Snowflake Chocolates here with the Red Shed Weather Report. It’s a balmy 64 degrees on this early Monday evening as we close the shop doors for the day. Our little Red Shed is crowned with the last of the vibrant fall leaves before Vermont stick season takes over. As all days are at this time of year the shop has been busy from the copper kettle in the back kitchen, the droning of the enrober coating our delicious centers to the efficient hands of our delightful staff perfectly packaging. Happy Monday. A day to be grateful. ☺️

Imagine our surprise when we started getting texts about this great article that showed up on the new People App! We are not sure how many different places this has ended up but we are not complaining. I know that some have seen it on their Facebook feeds. There are definitely corrections to be made but hey...kudos to us right?

Four generations of one family have been operating Snowflake Chocolates in Vermont for the past 40 years. Bob and Martha Pollack opened the business in Jericho in 1986.

Snowflake Chocolates here with the Red Shed Weather Report. It’s been a rainy humid afternoon for our Red Shed drinking in some much needed water snuggled with the last of tge late summer blooms. Inside the shop tge oompa loompa’s are bustling as the official start of the chocolate season has begun. The transformation to fall is occurring both outside the shop and inside as well. The shelves are being filled with the warm and cozy colors and flavors of fall. The change of seasons is inevitable but each one brings a new something sweet. Stop in and say hi. 🍁🍂🎃

Snowflake Chocolates here with the Red Shed Weather Report. It's a gloomy, grey rainy afternoon here in the North Country.
Our little Red Shed is happy as a clam to have a shower to get rid of the dust. The parched flowers and grass are delighted to absorb the refreshing raindrops. Just because there isn't enough drama around here the skies above have decided to offer a little lightening and thunder for ambiance. Inside the shop it is business as usual. Papa makes his rounds doing what I have no idea. Restocking the shelves and keeping the showroom fresh and well stocked. Happy Rain Day!
