I'm lately having a love affair with art nouveau jewelry caskets...my mom has (had?) one that was used to hold gloves and was displayed in a little vignette near my room. I remember it so vividly as part of my "space" growing up! I smile every time I see one at an estate sale and *must* pick it up.

I have a small collection now and am "recruiting" a friend to help replace the almost-always-tattered original linings - imagine this little lovely with a rich turquoise and chartreuse lining!
