This past Wednesday, we had the lovely come visit Dungeon Books to celebrate the paperback release of her atmospheric fantasy debut The Maiden and Her Monster. Joining her in conversation was the wonderful where they discussed all that we loved about this novel. As last month's Fantasy Romance Book Club's pick, this dark sapphic tale that's deeply rooted in Jewish history and Golem folklore completely fulfilled the balance for periods when we lean closer on the side of fantasy-first, followed by a substantial romance, of our fantasy romance scale.

Thank you both for a great evening and we'll definitely be looking forward to Maddie's upcoming novel!
