The Garden Gate has often been called one of the best kept secrets in Jerseyville, IL. Now it is time to share our secret with the World. The Garden Gate was opened by Sheila and Phil Ringhausen in 1988 as a vinyl fencing and decking company. The company was family owned and operated. Their children and grandchildren would help them install the products for the next 15 years. In 2002 Sheila saw that The Garden Gate needed to grow with the economy as well as with the growing town of Jerseyville. She started to carry unique lines of gifts and from there The Garden Gate Shop was born. We have a talented florist on staff to make beautiful arrangements of not only silk but fresh florae’s as well. We have free delivery in Jerseyville for our floral items. The Garden Gate has expanded over the years and evolved as every family business does.
