Typical conversation lately with folks wanting to rent equipment:

How much fuel will I burn in that dozer an hour?

Answer: Around 6-10 gallons an hour depending on how hard it’s pushed.

Response: So for a 40 hour weekly rental it may cost me $1,700 in fuel, plus the $2,500 a week rental?

Answer: Yes that’s right.

Response: So delivery on an overweight and over width machine is included right?

Answer: Uh no….we’re at $125 an hour from the time we leave until the truck returns.

Response: Ummmm……I may call a guy who does this for a living and has the equipment.

And here’s why: $400 of diesel fuel got just under a half tank in the semi. That may last the rest of this week. 🤣

2014 Caterpillar 303.5E CR excavator with 2,455 hours. Machine runs and operates very well, plenty of power to the stick and tracks. Comes with an AIM hydraulic pin grabber and four buckets: 12", 18", 24" and 48" ditch bucket. Two way auxiliary hydraulics to rum attachments or add a thumb. Hour meter was replaced at 2,100hrs and shows 355hrs. Tracks have several hundred hours of life left in them, undercarriage is good. No blowby or odd sounds in the powertrain.

2025 CAT BU121 pickup sweeper. Very little use, bristles are very good. 84" working width and standard flow motor. Requires 16-23 GPM, any skid or CTL will run it with standard flow hydraulics. No electric required.
