It's name comes from the significance the role altitude has when growing coffee. While coffee is grown in tropical climates, the cooler mountain temperatures at the higher altitudes help to prolong the bean develop

ment. The name Cloudland is also a nod to the company's home state of Georgia, after the beautiful state park Cloudland Canyon. It's owner, Kristina Madh, is a member of the Speciality Coffee Association (SCA). We specialize in high quality arabica coffee that is sustainably grown through programs including certified organic and Rainforest Alliance. We also place special emphasis on sourcing from women coffee producers.
