In Beaverton, Oregon, a cat named Esme became known for stealing stuff from neighbors. She kept bringing home gardening gloves, face masks, kneepads, and other random items from neighbors and nearby garages.

Her owner, Kate Felmet, set up a funny display in her front yard to return the growing pile. She put up a sign that said “My cat is a thief,” with a drawing of Esme, and displayed the stolen items on a clothesline so neighbors could come take back what was theirs.

It turned into a kind of community lost-and-found. It became a neighborhood joke and a viral story.

June we will be hosting some sidewalk sales on Saturday June 13th 8am ~ TBA, Sunday June 14th 11am ~ TBA, Saturday June 27th 8am ~ TBA & Sunday June 28th 11am ~ TBA.

The entire month of July at Roddy's Flowers we will have In-Store Savings on Christmas decor at special prices in specific areas of the shop (**NOTE** Only Christmas items will be on sale, everyday items are Not part of the Christmas In July Festivities).
