a story of how we create bridal bouquets:

sourcing flowers is an art in itself. for this bouquet I used 2 different local farms, one where I cut our own and one who is wholesale only. we also used some of our own flowers we grew which need to be cut the day of (cosmos) + imported flowers from Ecuador and Colombia which need to be ordered weeks in advance with no guarantee how they will show up after being shipped.

did you know almost all grocery store flowers are from Ecuador and Colombia?! more on that later.

so while it may seem like 'just a bouquet' each flower was chosen with intention and carefully curated for each of our brides.

curious about sourcing flowers? ask me anything you'd like to know πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸŒΌπŸ’•

I thought being a florist was simply my mom's dream. Turns out it was also mine after all.

Will she ever stop taking photos of flowers in the street? Probably not.
