Matt and I are very happy to be helping the Johnson Fire Dept raise funds with a raffle for the Doug Philipsen Hometown Hero’s Scholarship established by the Johnson Firefighter’s Association in Dad’s memory. There will be lots more details coming soon, as well as images of many more prizes very generously donated by local businesses. The goal is to establish an endowment for a perpetual scholarship which will be available to those who demonstrate a desire to serve their communities in the area of public safety, with emphasis on small or rural communities. Recipients should demonstrate a connection to Lamoille County VT, with priority to Johnson.
Raffle tickets are $20 each, 3/$50, 6/$100. We can accept checks, cash or Venmo. Please message for details.
The drawing will take place December 13, 2026. You do not need to be present to win and prizes will be shipped if you are not local. We are happy to fill out tickets for you and send a photo of stubs.

Matt is also donating a glass blowing class which has a value of $240.

Thank you to everyone that came to our open studio this weekend! We will be drawing our raffle (little blue vase) on Monday evening when Copper gets home from from dog camp! Stay tuned for a video! I put lilacs in this vase( $90) for the weekend. What a perfect pair!
