When we had our first set of quads, out of a first time ewe, we didn’t know what to expect. But Smokin’ Cowboy on Gavin’s show ewe from last year from Simpson Livestock, I knew there was some great potential.

We were always excited to see how Chunky Monkey would turn out since the day she hit the ground, and when Cheyenne picked her out to show, we knew that was a great match!

This was our first year using Pl***oy and he did not disappoint, we have another group of ewes bred to him this year, plus that was the first lamb out of our new Hassebrook ShowLambs ewe, so we have high expectations moving forward for her too.

She might have been a late born bottle baby when her mom went down with pregnancy toxemia but when you combine Gavin’s Champion Dorset Ram from J and M Show lambs and a great little black Navajo ewe from Simpson Livestock, the genetics were there for for a fun colored high quality ewe lamb.

We are downsizing our flock after making some significant additions over the past year, and are offering a very nice set of 12 proven ewes looking for new pastures.

These ewes lambed successfully, weaned healthy lambs and many of the lambs are placed in 4-H and FFA show pens for the 2026 season.

These ewes were acquired from top breeders, come from excellent genetic lines or are sired by top end bucks—making this a great opportunity to add proven, productive females to your program.

Meet Salt and Pepper, our new set of twins born this morning, and what a surprise.

Daddy is our Champion Dorset Ram, Great White, and mom is our class winning black ewe lamb, Shadow.

What a fun way to start off the day.
