On Patriot Day, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, military members, volunteers and everyday Americans who stepped forward to help. 🇺🇸

Service has always been at the heart of Scouting. From helping a neighbor to serving our communities in times of need, Scouts learn to be prepared, look out for others and do their part. ❤

Today, we remember. We honor. And we continue to serve.

Classes being held for Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED at the Cambria County Library September 23rd from 4:30-5:30pm and 6-7pm.
These are blended classes meaning that there is an on-line portion to be done before the hands-on portion at the library. These classes are FREE and open to the public.
Class space is limited and preregistration is required.

Your pin is your unit’s digital front door — so make sure it makes a great first impression!

Take a few minutes to check your unit’s information and make sure your meeting location, contact information and other details are current and accurate.
A family can’t join your unit if they can’t find you!

The Pittsburgh Hike Is Back. Let’s Hit the Trail.

After a little time off the trail, the Pittsburgh Hike is making its return!

Join Laurel Highlands Council and Troop 2 on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for the kickoff of the Norm Miller Pittsburgh Hike. We’ll gather at 9:00 AM at Flag Plaza for a kickoff flag raising before Scouts and families head out to explore Pittsburgh.
The Hike features three unique segments through some of the most historic, scenic and iconic parts of our city:
1. Downtown & Point State Park
2. Strip District & North Shore
3. Station Square & Mt. Washington

Along the way, you’ll discover points of interest, answer questions, learn more about the city we call home and earn a patch for completing each segment. Complete all three and you’ll earn a special Pittsburgh Hike medal.
Grab your Hike booklet, bring your family or Scouting unit, and explore Pittsburgh one step at a time.

Kickoff on Saturday, November 7 at 9:00 AM at Flag Plaza.
