Chameleon Books opened on May 1, 2000. Lorraine Bezy and Mike Messina originally co-owned the store. With the death of his beloved life partner, Lorraine Bezy, of cancer in 2019, Mike Messina is running the business as best he can, despite covid 19 or any other obstacle. We will not close down. We have new, used, and antique books of all kinds at lower prices than anywhere else. WE ALSO TAKE ORDER

S. Check our page for upcoming events once a month or so. We've had great local music here and a belly
dancer whirls through the stacks from time to time! We also sell DVD's, CD's and other unusual items as we find them...

Our Beltane gathering will be held Saturday May 2nd from Noon - 4:00 pm, highlighted by Jackie Kopco's performance from 2:00-3:30.
We'll have a maypole, a simmer pot for bay leaf intentions, and Icelandic runes. We will also discuss Iceland's literary heritage, medieval folktales, sagas and art.
BYOB is fine with valid ID; admission, as always, is free, but feed the tip jar...
