During National Fire Prevention Week, October 7 - 13, 2012 attention is focused on promoting fire safety and prevention, however we should practice fire safety all year long. Many potential fire hazards go undetected because people simply do not take steps to fireproof their home. Post what your agency does or even some pictures of your open houses during this week! Stay Safe!!!

So the person who finds the most 1st On Scene Fire Extinguisher Inspection tags located around NY State (yes the entire state!) and post the pictures on Facebook with the Store and City, before the end of October 13th (last day of Fire Prevention Week) will get a $50 Stewart's gas card, Second Place will get a $20 gift card to Applebees! GOOD LUCK (ends Oct 13th at 6pm)

Sept 11, 2001 is a day that changed the fire service for ever. Throughout today please remember the brothers and sisters that died trying to save the life of a complete stranger. Remember the men and women of the Military who have fought and died for our freedoms. Pray that the currrent Military who are not home are returned to their loved ones safe and sound. Be safe out there and make sure that everyone comes back home. God Bless the FDNY 343, the NYPD and all the Military......

Awesome show of Support for the Albany Medical Centers Children's Hospital! West Bound and Down!!

The convoy for the kids from Amsterdam NY to Fonda Fairgrounds. Very nice turn out and alot of very nice trucks.
