Labor day weekend is coming up and here's a guide for any mysterious travelers in town looking for landmarks to find the 3 murals celebrating the works of Johnstown's hometown hero, Comic Book Creating Legend... STEVE DITKO!

Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center (voted the BEST art gallery) with the expertise of public art guru Michael Allison installed these murals painted by the community and supporters of the arts that need to be seen in person to get the full effect! (Because they're huge. They are murals of course....)

A third mural honoring Steve Ditko, the legendary co-creator of Spider-Man, has officially been installed in his hometown. The mural is located at Johnstown's West End at 124 Fairfield Ave.

Designed by local artist and Ditko fan K. Brandon Wilt and brought to life with the help of community volunteers, the mural celebrates nearly seven decades of Ditko's incredible artistic legacy.

And there's more big news for Ditko fans!

DitkoCon 2027 is expanding to a TWO-DAY event, taking place September 25–26, 2027. Mark your calendars. It looks like next year's DitkoCon could be the biggest one yet! 🕷️
