About Us
Butterfly Candles & Scented was established in October 2015, in Jonesboro, Georgia. However, it all started years ago, when I knew I was a candle addict. My love for certain fragrances evolved into wanting to learn the art of candling. I began to research and explore the possibilities of becoming a chandler, but life happened, and got in the way of my curiosity and the love of making candles. Years passed, but I never lost the drive and thought of making my own candles. I would purchase many candles from Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, and places like that, until it hit me again, make your own. Once again, I did my research, I ordered what I needed, and tested, and tested until I came up with good products that I wanted to make for myself, along with friends and family.
I have always loved candles, they seem to have a calming effect on me, and they set the tone and ambiance for any occasion and/or room. As time passed, I began to have more and more people to contact me about making and selling my candles to them, and of course, I felt comfortable enough to do just that. BUTTERFLY CANDLES was born. At this time, my grandson was born, and he had such dry and irritated skin, it made me want to do more for him, so I researched natural ways to help cure his dry and irritated skin, and I found some really great recipes for all natural soaps and creams. I tried them, perfected them, and this is when BUTTERFLY CANDLES & SCENTS was born. My deep love and appreciation for my craft had evolved into something I never it would.
Our reward is to see the satisfaction of each and every person that purchases our products, and to bring you the best hand poured, hand made, parasoy and soy wax candles, and the most efficient and effective all natural skin and body products to offer.
