We are saddened that our dear friend and amazing watercolor artist, Gary Burkett passed away this weekend. Gary was a huge proponent for supporting local foods and farmers and served on the Jonesborough Locally Grown Board, which is an umbrella for Boone Street Market and Jonesborough Farmers Market.

Today, June 10th is Gary’s birthday and in his honor, let’s all go support local foods. If you spend $25 or more at Boone Street Market today, bring your receipt by the shop and you’ll receive one of his Jonesborough watercolor prints.

Pottery Workshops coming up soon! This Thursday, join us for the Pottery Berry Bowl at 6:30pm or the Lace Pottery Pitcher Saturday, June 27th at 10am. This workshops are perfect for beginners and all materials are provided. You can choose from an array of laces or bring your own if you have a family heirloom lace.

While you’re in town, be sure to stop in and check out our 85 makers and all their garden-inspired handmade goods!

We’re excited to be hosting Summer Art Camps at the shop with Small Town Makers! 🎨🫟☀️
The 2026 summer session features four uniquely themed art camp weeks. Each camp week focuses on a different type of art and is intended to provide a creative outlet for students during the free flowing days of summer! Art Camp will be on Tuesdays-Thursdays for two hours, and parents are welcome to drop off or stick around. These classes are for ages 8-14, visit her website for full descriptions for each week’s offerings.
