Haven't been into the library for awhile. Take a few minutes to stop in and check out our winter raffle fundraiser. Some of the artists works are Paul Powers, Val Aponik, Ellie Carbone, Charlene Nelson, Michelle Romanini , Downeast Cowboy and I'm sure I've forgotten somebody! lol There are prints, photos, originals and even one of these wood ducks there. It will stay up until our next exhibit. Tickets are $1. each or 6 for $5.00. Thanks to all for your support!! Looking forward to a new season and seeing all of you again!!

Busy week!!

Events happening this week at Peabody Memorial Library:

Now through Wednesday - Art in the Library Chinese Auction featuring numerous pieces of artwork up for grabs. Tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5. All proceeds benefit Art in the Library.

Wednesday (5:30pm-7:30pm) - Art in the Library Meet the Artist's Reception featuring artwork by local artists. There's also a Silent Auction featuring paddles submitted my local artists and Beals Elementary Students. Silent Auction ends July 10. All proceeds benefit Art in the Library.

Friday (7-9pm) - Teen Game Night! Bring your favorite game or play one of ours, but either way come play games with friends!

Saturday (11am-12pm) - Father's Day Storytime!

Saturday (2-3pm) - Music in the Library presents Castlebay. Event is free, but donations are gladly accepted! Limited seating, please contact the library to reserve your seat.

ON SALE NOW! Tickets for the library's upcoming Downeastah Flavah Cook Off! We've sold almost half of them already, so be sure to stop by the library before they're gone!

With the beginning of 2007, I set a goal to reach carving 1,000 birds. Well, it took awhile but finally made it. These grebes are 1,000 and 1,001!!!
