6 foot snake? Nope, just mating speckled rattlesnakes. We wish caught a better quality video but we wanted to share it with you anyways to take the opportunity to remind you to be SO careful out there. Think twice about using your earbuds while hiking. The video is also bad because we kept our distance.. because we didn't want to, ..you know, die.
Did you know that mating rattlesnakes can stay "linked" for hours and sometimes multiple days?
By the way, PFUQUE those invasive weeds! ..and it was the lady snake leading.

Yet another unwanted project. If you live locally we hope to see you at the meeting tonight to voice your opposition.
The proposed project for 18 new homes is located in a wildlife corridor which is home to a high concentration of Joshua trees and several sensitive species including the desert tortoise.
It would affect our night sky and add to the already atrocious and dangerous traffic on Alta Loma.
