Fished the North Carolina Pirate’s Cove Tournament last week, which also we sponsor every year. It was a great week of fishing and another reminder why we sponsor tournaments like Pirate's Cove Billfish Tournament and the HMY Lowcountry Cup every year. We are able to have our support trailer on site and it’s a great crowd of amazing owners, captains, and crew that feels more like a big family than some other tournaments out there these days. I also put our ANETIK and FLORENCE 🚩 shirts to work. Congrats to the Bayliss Boatworks “Tarheel” and many of our customers that won some loot! And thanks again to Dave Fields and Sequel for the opportunity to be an angler. See y’all next year!

Special thanks to and crew at for putting on a great tournament last week. We are a small brand compared to most in the marine industry and don’t have a huge marketing budget so we have to be selective about our sponsorships. It’s a great relationship, they make us feel at home, and send us customers whenever they can. It’s family oriented with fantastic fishing, great crews and owners and amazing food. We appreciate everything they do and already looking forward to next year!

This week is the 5 year work anniversary of two of our employees here at Sportfish Outfitters. It’s hard to believe how fast time flies. Weston and Nicole both started at Sportfish Outfitters at the same time. There are no words for how much appreciate these two and the care that they put into their work every day. They treat all of our customers as friends and are always looking out for their best interest. Sportfish Outfitters would not be anything close to what it is today without the two of them. My deepest gratitude goes out to them. Come celebrate with us Wednesday the 15th at our shop happy hour.
