That fog is actually condensation and it’s a normal part of a healthy closed terrarium.

During the day, the plants release moisture into the air. That moisture collects on the cooler glass as tiny water droplets. Then it falls back into the soil — almost like rain! 🌧️

It’s basically your terrarium’s own mini water cycle.

A little fog = normal.
Glass soaking wet all day = probably too much moisture.

For a healthy terrarium, you want the glass to fog up and then clear again, usually throughout the day. 🌱✨
