Double Run (back-to-back) at the Gorge. Been awhile...Given my lack of canoe time this past year: In a nutshell, I was SMOKED entering Swell City on the 2nd run...Good conditions, AWESOME crew from San Diego Outrigger Canoe Club. This is an annual pilgramage and so grateful for it.

If you are not aware, 2 paddlers from Kailua, HI, Paul Sibley and Robert Egbert are still moving on the Yukon in the midst of a 1,000 mile race. Both Koa Canario III and I have paddled with both of these mean and they are great paddlers with indomitable spirits. They still have almost 200 miles to go and just went through a crazy storm. Teams have dropped out. Teams have finished in record breaking times. That being said, RESPECT for all who showed up and put Canoes and Kayaks into the river.

We were proud to support, Sean Brown & Rob Huf as they went on to finish and win the OC2 Solo Male division in 49th Annual, 2026 Moloka'i Challenge. Congratulations to both these paddlers!!!
