Sometimes life puts you on the struggle bus for a little while. 🤍

Today that meant accepting a little help from our local food pantry — and I’m grateful it was there when we needed it.

I think we need to normalize asking for help when we need it. Hard seasons happen, and there shouldn’t be shame attached to using the resources meant to help families through them.

Sometimes when life is heavy and hard, you just need to throw everything in the Instant pot, hit the buttons and move on.

Progress Not Perfection!

This is one of those super simple dinner recipes that can just get you through a hard day. I forgot to video it but I add seasonings we like such as onion powder, garlic powder, old bay, and cumin. Spice it however you like. I do usually prefer tomatoes with green chilis but I didn’t have any this time so I just used what we had.

These last few days have been extremely difficult so tonight two of my loves and I are trying to find some peace in the chaos making simple memories together with some popcorn, AFV and homemade Rice Krispie treats.

Making our basement a little less dungeon like. 2 days of progress as we sort, declutter, toss, deep clean and paint the floors.

Still have a few sections to go but progress not perfection. Just move your body.

Well… today kind of sucked. 😭

Someone stole our utility trailer. I’m angry, I’m sad, and honestly I still can’t believe someone would just take something that doesn’t belong to them.

Living on a little farm means that trailer gets used for everything, and replacing it isn’t something we can just casually do.

We filed a police report and now we’re just hoping somehow it makes its way back home. 🤞🙏

Vet visit for the last kitten. We adore new life on the farm but 8 cats is a lot lol 😂. Sometimes real life over here isn’t always the most exciting parts. Sometimes it’s just the day to day things or a trip to the vet. Today was one of those days.

Some days it’s piles of laundry that seem to have no end. But choosing to show up leads to reward.

Showing up matters. Small steps, big rewards. Progress not perfection. Building new habits and routines. You can do hard things and I’m proud of you!
