The Downtown Kalamazoo Collective is hosting a fun event - Sips in the Zoo - for the weekend of Aug. 7 - 9. Stop in at The Spirit of Kalamazoo to treat yourself to the "Afternoon Delight." We blend salted caramel ice cream from Plainwell Ice Cream Co. with cold brew Water Street Coffee. This ice cream concoction is so good!

My family and I have been overwhelmed with gratitude by the incredible outpouring of love and support following Josh's video.

Josh (Josh & Jase), thank you from the bottom of our hearts for shining a light on our store and so many other small businesses across Michigan. Your kindness and generosity mean more to us than words can express.

For more than 40 years, photographer Fran Dwight has captured the heart and soul of our community through her lens. Now, you have one last chance to experience her work.

The Last Picture Show is now on view in the Westin Gallery at the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo through July 31. This final exhibition reflects not only Fran's remarkable career but also her enduring belief in the power of art to bring people together.

Fran hopes visitors leave the exhibition with the understanding that "underneath it all, we are more the same than we are different," a message that has shaped both her work and her connection to the community.
