To my duck hunting/decoy carving and collecting friends in the Southern California area…

My “son” Kyle is serving with the Marines and stationed at Camp Pendleton. He has been in the field a lot and missed this duck season other than a few days on leave in Michigan.

He has a long weekend, off tomorrow, Sunday and Monday then back to the field for a couple weeks and deploying later this year which will have him missing the 24/25 season.

Is there anyone who would have room in their blind for respectful young man serving his country Sunday or Monday?

I take partial credit for teaching him how to shoot and how to be safe early on and have spent more days hunting small game and shooting trap and s***t with him than I can count and have zero reservations vouching for him being responsible with a firearm and willing to pull his weight.

Lastly, his gear is still back in Michigan since he’ll be deploying. He does have a car, but would need to borrow a gun and waders. I have specifically instructed him NOT to bring a duck call😂

If anyone is able to help get him out, it would be greatly appreciated! I am happy to answer any questions about him if needed.

Did you know our spoons are not just for people food?

Erika and I (mostly Erika😆) have been making supplemental food for one of our favorite dogs at SPCA of Southwest Michigan who came in very malnourished and underweight. He is now much healthier although a bit spoiled😁

Chicken, steak, venison sweet potatoes, carrots, brown rice and GRAVY!

Bear is good boy waiting for his forever home. Maybe it’s with you? He’s available!

Also, Erika and I will make sure he has at least 2 weeks worth of his supplemental food to go with him to ease the transition to his furever home!

Good afternoon everyone!

I am still trying to reopen my Etsy shop but struggling. There is some type of issue connecting my bank account (which is the same one I’ve had connected to Etsy for years) so I need to go to the bank and get it figured out out. I am really hoping to have it solved and reopen my store today. If not I will figure out something else.

Update on my Etsy shop.

I am working on getting it back open, but with as long as it was inactive there are a few things I need to do before I can open it again, and since I’m horrible at this kind of thing it will most likely be tomorrow instead of tonight before I get it all up and running.

A little work in progress!

I will be opening my Etsy shop sometime on Saturday or before, and it will be open until I reach my full capacity for getting orders complete and out in time for Christmas.

Say Grace has a good supply of my work along with lots of other amazing and delicious artisan made wares ready to ship.

If you are in the Grand rapids, MI area, you cand find my work at Art of the Table along with anything (actually EVERYTHING) else you need to entertain and impress.

I am also planning to have an open house in the next few weeks which I will be announcing this evening along with times that I will be open for drop in shopping between now and Christmas.
