perhaps we should be saying some sophisticated and nuanced and highly literary things about this absolute beauty of a new book from Marlon James , but it is so lusciously entertaining and humming with every (musical, political, emotional, and hypothetical) Anthem of the 80s, that we are hopelessly and happily distracted by its own rhythms to be able to find new words to adequately describe it.

If you've browsed Bookbug in the last few weeks, you've no doubt noticed what we've come to lovingly call our "bounce house effect", some buckling that occurred as result of several factors this summer. This charming effect will be repaired today thanks to a plan applying laws of physics and care.
We will remain open next door with a dedicated Bookbug escort/runner able to retrieve anything needed from its inventory (now tightly packed and not fully browsable) onto one side of Bookbug's floor.

i sat down to read this book this weekend and did not stand up until i was done.

this is a book about the saddest thing that can happen to a person.

this is also a book about music, artists, and bands i do not know.

this is a book with passages I underlined for their crystal clear truths and also in creation of one of the most earnest playlists i have ever wanted to listen to.

this is a book that devastated, humbled, and invigorated me.
