I’m not sure what I want to do with this old sugar sack from Chinook MT. Should I sell it or use it for a craft? I’ve been thinking about this for awhile and can’t decide. I do like to mount these on canvas. They look good in the kitchen displayed with baking supplies. I just am at a standstill right now. What do you think?

I just put this century old drying rack on Facebook Marketplace. It’s got that great primitive look and I can imagine it in a big laundry room or by a wood stove drying socks, mittens, pants or coats. It would also make a lovely drying rack for flowers and or herbs.

It’s the end of an era. I’ve emptied and closed my last booth in an antique market. I am doing only live and online sales. I’m liquidating my stock. In August I did 2 flea markets and a yard sale. In October I’ll do The Prairie Sisters and in November I’ll do The Market Beautiful . I’ll also sell on EBay, Etsy, and FB Marketplace. I will continue to carry my line of Mosser Glass in Jadeite and other beautiful colors. I’m hoping to free up more time to putter in my greenhouse and work on creative crafts and projects. I will continue to share special vintage pieces, vignettes, and my creations, So I hope you’ll continue to follow me and if you don’t, I will miss you.

I love this. Works for me!

I’ve noticed I rarely keep a room completely polished when I’m putting a space together.

At some point I always end up adding an old door, chipped paint, uneven wood, something faded or imperfect… otherwise it starts feeling too showroom to me.

I think that little bit of age is what gives a room its soul. 🤍🌿
