To All Our Valued Customers:
This is a post we have dreaded posting for a while now, but wanted to wait to announce this until we knew all the key details.
Unfortunately, we found out on a very very short notice that the property owners decided to list this location for sale. A lot of our customers always thought that we owned this property but have always rented it all these years. Silly, I know. The property was sold in a very short time and we were given a 30 day notice to vacate the property. There was a possibility of it getting changed to a 60 day but that didn’t work out. We have over 100 aquariums here. The way this was all done was pretty dirty and wrong. We sure would have appreciated more of a heads up on this happening also.
We are feeling all sorts of thoughts when it comes to this situation. It was definitely very unexpected and we never would have thought in a million years we’d be put in this situation.
Unfortunately, property rentals are insanely expensive in the Valley. I believe one of the main reasons Bob always stayed here was because we were fortunate to have extremely cheap rent, plus the location. We’d be looking at 3,4,5 times as much as what we pay now and it is just not feasible in this day and current economy.
With all that being said, we have to be out of here completely by June 12th. It is fast approaching. We have been selling off some of the tanks. If you are looking for a tank, feel free to stop by. We also have shelving and racks too and a few freezers and refrigerators.
Our hours currently are:
Tuesday-Friday 12-6 and Saturday from 11-5.
We did make one last small fish order that is available off of quarantine today. We have some nice plants and shrimp, plus Goldfish, Koi and Water Hyacinths for outdoor ponds too.
I normally am not one to ask for donations or help unless necessary. But we may need a little help from the community with clearing out the place and expenses. (Trash dumpster rental, etc) If you’d like to make a donation to help with all of this, donations can be made through:
