We loved welcoming back familiar faces and meeting crafters from across North Carolina (and beyond!). We're so grateful you chose to spend part of your journey with us!

Thank you for supporting not only our shop, but every local yarn store and small business that helped make this year's tour so special. Events like the NC Yarn Tour are a wonderful reminder of what an incredible fiber arts community we have and how much it means to shop local.

The Night Court awaits... 🌙✨

Tickets are officially on sale for our A Court of Thorns & Roses: A Night in Prythian Book Ball & Midnight Release Party, and they're already going fast!

Join us on Monday, October 26 at The Swanee Theatre in downtown Kannapolis as we celebrate the release of ACOTAR 6 with a night of fantasy, friends, and the countdown to the ACOTAR 6 midnight release!

Choose the experience that's right for you (there are three ticket options available) and enjoy fantasy-inspired photo ops, our local artisan bookish marketplace, a costume contest, light bites, and more.

Costumes are highly encouraged but never required. Whether you arrive in full Night Court regalia, represent your favorite court, wear formal attire, or simply come as you are, you'll fit right in.

A few important reminders:
• There are no physical tickets. Choose In-Store Pick-Up at checkout, and we'll have your name on the guest list at the door.
• Please leave all weapons at home. No weapons of any kind (real, prop, or replica) will be permitted anywhere on Swanee Theatre property.

Get yours in time for the crawl and wear it all week long as you visit your favorite local yarn shops from September 19-26, 2026. Whether you keep it classic or decorate it along the way, it's a fun way to celebrate the crawl and support the CAYC community.

We've made a couple of adjustments to our calendar, so be sure to check it out!

Highlights:
- We will be NOT be closed for construction this week. Come and see us!
- We will NOT host Writer's Block on Friday, August 7. The shop will close at 5 pm.
- We'll have something you're going to LOVE on Bookstore Romance Day - Saturday, August 15.
- The new monthly drink menu leans into those early fall flavors we couldn't wait to bring back.
