There was a time when choosing myself meant walking away from the career I knew and stepping into one I was still building.

That was scary.

Becoming a full-time flower farmer has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done and also one of the most demanding. There are early mornings, long days, weather I can’t control, things that don’t grow according to plan, and moments when I still ask myself, “Can I really do this?”

And then I look around.

I’m growing beautiful things.
I’m creating something of my own.
I’m serving my community.

And, in a way I didn't expect, I’m still teaching.

My classroom just looks different now. 🌱
