Legacy Skates KC Welcomes New Management as Haley Struxness Joins the Leadership Team
Kansas City, MO – March 7, 2025 – Legacy Skates KC, a trusted name in the skating community for nearly six years, is entering an exciting new chapter under the leadership of Haley Struxness, who officially took over management on February 25, 2025.
Struxness, a roller skating enthusiast and accomplished entrepreneur, brings 14 years of business expertise as the CEO of WERQ Fitness, a national dance fitness brand known for empowerment and inclusivity. She is also a proud partner at SK8SHOT Studios, Kansas City’s first and only roller skating school. With deep roots in the Kansas City community, Struxness is committed to growing the local skate scene while continuing Legacy’s mission of providing top-tier skates, gear, accessories, and customer service to skaters everywhere.
Legacy Founder, Luke Powell remains actively involved, overseeing the management transition and working closely with Struxness and the Legacy team to ensure seamless operations. Vendors and customers can expect business as usual, with Struxness gradually taking on more management responsibilities while maintaining the exceptional service Legacy Skates is known for.
