As I dropped off the packages from my latest Whatnot show, I started reflecting on this whole journey. It was a smaller show, but I’m grateful for every bit of it: 27 orders and more than 70 items sold. And somewhere along the way, I hit a milestone I never thought I’d reach so soon: 10,000 items sold on Whatnot in less than a year!
That’s hard to believe. When I started this journey, I never imagined it would grow this much. I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who has followed along, trusted Urban Woodstock, shopped with me, and shown love in my shows. The Whatnot community has become like family to me, and I appreciate every one of you.
I’ll be honest: I’m still figuring out what comes next. I love the fun and connection I’ve found on Whatnot, but running shows takes a lot of work, especially when you’re doing so much on your own. And deep down, I still love the retail side of this business. I haven’t given up on the idea of finding a place where I can bring retail back and keep doing Whatnot, too. I’m weighing my options, including working from home if that’s what I need to do for now.
There are some big decisions ahead, but one thing I know for sure: Urban Woodstock isn’t going anywhere. I love this business, the 420 & Counterculture community are the best, and the people I’ve met along the way. I’m grateful for how far we’ve come, and I’m excited to see where the next step takes us.
