Propane, IsoPro, White Gas, Alcohol, and even Gasoline! We have stoves that run on just about anything. There is a lot to consider when purchasing a camping stove:

1. Portability: If you are backpacking or bikepacking, space and weight are crucial. IsoPro Cannister stoves provide an familoar stove experience in a compact form. For the SUPER ultra lighters out there alcohol stoves weigh almost nothing, have no moving parts, and van even be made at home.

2. Availability of Fuel: if you are trekking to another country where IsoPro may not be readily available, a stove like the MSR Whisperlite International is a great choice since it can run off White Gas, Kerosene, or even Unleaded Gasoline.

3. Where and how you cook: if you are making food for the whole family, or like to make breakfast and coffee at the same time, then a classic Coleman Two Burner stove might be a great option for your car camping kitchen. Cooking over a fire pit is an amazing experience, but of you are camping in a state with a fire ban, then a portable grill like the Eureka SPRK is a good backup.
