Hi. We’ve missed you.
Sorry we’ve been so quiet. But honestly? Closing was really hard.

We put everything into that space. The design, the late nights, the programming, the careful-thought-out-every-detail vision of what it could be for KC families. And it worked — in all the ways that actually matter. It just didn’t work in one way that also really matters.
So we took some time. Did some thinking. Were moms for a while. (Turns out that’s a full-time job, who knew?)

We’re not ready to make any big announcements. But we’re ready to find our way back to you.

So tell us, what did Hümanette mean to you? Drop it below — we’re all ears and have got nothing but time to listen.

This is one of the hardest things we’ve had to share: after so much heart and hope poured into this space, Hümanette will close our Brookside location on Sunday, September 28.

To every family who has played, laughed, worked, celebrated, and grown with us—thank you. You have been the heartbeat of Hümanette, and we’re forever grateful.

While this chapter ends, our story doesn’t. We’re already working behind the scenes to reimagine Hümanette in a new space, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.

In the meantime, we’d love to see you—come play, grab a treat, and let us say a heartfelt “see you soon.” 🤍

Join us during our morning play session for a casual conversation with Catherine Lewis and two other incredible local experts:

🤍 Abby AuBuchon of Delta Chiropractic will share knowledge on pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pediatric milestones, nervous system health, and holistic care for the whole family.

🤍 Riley Rhodes, founder of Hold Tight Baby, will talk about how simplifying baby essentials can reduce your mental load and free you up to focus on secure attachment and emotional connection.

As always, little ones are welcome, coffee will be flowing, and the space is open for community, questions, and encouragement.
