There’s always a great opportunity to share a pint with a friend. We don’t need a National Day to enjoy. Sláinte

It breaks our hearts to have to do this, but we are rescheduling today’s auction fundraiser for Rose Brooks Center It is so wet and possibly more rain on the way, it’s not ideal for our live artist, all our fabulous auction prizes, and most importantly, all of you- our valued friends.

Good news- Eddie Delahunt will move inside and still play at Brownes today 2-5.

As soon as we can set a new Saturday in October to reschedule this event, we will repost and keep you all in the loop.

Thank you for your patience and loyalty to us and for your willingness to support our friends at Rose Brooks Center

I grew up loving baseball with my dad. When we weren’t at a game, we were listening to Denny Matthews broadcast. Yes, even when we watched it on TV, just like the rest of you.

What a thrill it was to be at the game tonight for his 8000th broadcast. Truly a KC legend! His first broadcast was at the Royals first game in 1969. We all know nothing else.

Thank you Denny! Thank you KC Royals. ⚾️ 🎤

Every time Nancy comes to town, she makes a point to visit Browne’s, her very favorite place in Kansas City.

Be like Nancy!

It’s always an exciting day when beautiful merino wool sweaters arrive from Ireland. The colors this season are stunning: Chocolate, Cedar, Mermaid, Berry. Lovely accents of tweed and leather make some extra special.

Great news about our cherished friend Eileen!!

Everyone watch Tom Llamas at 5:30 tonight on NBC Nightly News . The feel good story at the end is about a birthday party Operation Breakthrough had for her.

Eileen’s says “it’s all about these kids… it’s all about them. They are all just so precious.” And Eileen you are giving them a NATIONAL voice! You are simply amazing. We love you!!
