In 1938, Guy Caldwell and his wife, Francis, started Guy’s Nut & Candy Company right here in Kansas City with a peanut roaster tucked into the back of a storeroom. A few years later came the potato chips…and the rest is a Legendary Kansas City history.

So that little apostrophe in GUY’S has a job.
It means Guy’s snacks. Guy Caldwell’s snacks.
More than 80 years later, his name is still right there on every bag.
