16 years. 🤍
Today marks 16 years since I opened the doors to Clothz Minded.
I wish I could say owning a small business has been 16 years of exciting growth, fun buying trips and pretty displays…but the truth is, it has also been a lot of uncertainty, tears, long days, long nights, sleepless nights, figuring things out as I go, and wondering more than once if I could keep going.
Small business is hard. Really hard.
But somehow, 16 years later, I’m still here.
And that’s because people have continued to walk through these doors, tell their friends about my shop, share my posts and choose to spend their money with my small local KC business.
I don’t think small business owners say this enough: every single purchase matters.
So today I’m not throwing a big party. I’m just standing in front of this little shop of mine that I started 16 years ago feeling incredibly grateful that it’s still mine and that I still get to do this.
Thank you for keeping small businesses like mine alive. 🤍
