This month we read Just For The Summer by Abby Jimenez.

Two people who've given up on commitment make a pact: they'll date until one of them falls for someone else -because the one who gets left always seems to find their person next. It's a very logical plan. It does not go as planned.

Cookbook Book Club is here! Saturday, June 27th and we are cooking through the Studio Ghibli Cookbook by Minh-Tri Vo.

Unofficial recipes inspired by Spirited Away, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, and more. The red bean buns. The ramen. The food that has been making Studio Ghibli audiences unreasonably hungry since 1985. If you've ever watched Chihiro's parents eat at that food stall, or wanted to try Kiki's herring and pumpkin pie, this is your afternoon.

To join: bring a dish from the book or grab a ticket if you'd rather just show up hungry. Either way, RSVP is required since space is tight.

Introducing the ARC Club.

For those unfamiliar, ARC stands for Advance Reader Copy; these are books sent to us before their official release date. You get to read them early, and in exchange we ask for an honest review

We load a book onto a small flash drive and send it your way. You read it, leave a review, and bring the drive back. Then we put a new ARC on it and it keeps going!

No deadlines, no pressure. You go at your own pace whether that's one book every few months or ten a month.

DM us to fill out an interest form!

The only thing we ask in return is a review when you're done. That's what keeps us getting ARCs and helps everyone find their next favorite read! Reviews can be as simple or as complex as you are comfortable with

We only have 20 spots so DM us if you're interested!

We have treat here, Hondo is a special needs cat and on a special diet so we ask fans to not bring him food or toys
