B.A.C. Musical Instruments was incredibly proud to serve as a community partner with the American Jazz Museum in celebrating the birthday and legacy of Charlie “Bird” Parker! 🎷
As part of the celebration, we were excited to provide a musical instrument petting zoo for the community, giving young people a chance to pick up an instrument, explore, and create some of their very first musical notes.
There is something incredibly inspiring about those moments — the smiles, the curiosity, the excitement, and the positive energy that comes from discovering music for the first time. It is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
The day also brought things full circle for B.A.C. founder Mike Corrigan, who had the opportunity to bring his childhood friend Ryan Browning into the celebration. Mike and Ryan first became friends through middle school band, making it especially meaningful to share the stage of this celebration decades later.
It is a beautiful reminder that learning a musical instrument can have an impact that lasts a lifetime. Music does more than teach us how to play notes — it builds confidence, creates community, and forms friendships and relationships that can remain deeply connected for years to come.
