PART-TIME ASSOCIATE AND DELIVERY/INSTALLATION TECH
Job description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Associate to join our family owned and operated business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience through assisting in manual installations and deliveries but also answering phone calls, inputting service orders and helping customers on the showroom floor. Product and software knowledge will be taught. No specific experience needed.
Physical warehouse work is also required along with daily maintenance of showroom and warehouse. This position requires a blend of physical labor as well as customer service/sales. A clean, well groomed appearance is required. Hours 11am - 5pm Monday through Friday (can modify to fit a work release program for Seniors in high school to 12:00pm-5:00pm until graduation). And, every Saturday 8am to Noon.
RELIABILITY is KEY!!! Deliveries and installations are scheduled weeks in advance. Therefore, Associate must be reliable and on time daily without concern. Do not apply if the hours posted are not feasible or if you are unable to commute in a timely manner with a reliable form of transportation.
Responsibilities:
• Provide physical assistance with warehouse inventory and organization.
• Provide physical assistance with loading/unloading appliances.
• Provide physical assistance with delivery and installation of appliances in customer residences.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances by lifting, pushing/pulling, holding/securing and using an appliance dolly. Appliances can vary in weight. Must be able to safely lift 100 pounds plus.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support during their shopping experience and during installations.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and organized.
• Manage transactions effectively and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Exhibit good phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns via phone.
• Using basic hand tools
Experience/Requirements:
• Above average communication skills and have a self-motivated attitude.
• Familiarity with basic math concepts for effective transaction processing.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new products and providing outstanding customer service.
• Use of basic hand tools
• Physical ability to safely lift and maneuver 100+ pounds
