My Shelf To Yours At KCKCC Established on 6/1/10, My Shelf To Yours At KCKCC is a student-operated bookstore promoting scholars To date, we have received over 51,000 donated books.

My Shelf To Yours (MSTY) sells used books that have been donated by KCKCC staff, faculty, students, & community members. We then purchase textbooks for our urban-core students who could not otherwise afford them. Any donated books that are unsold are then either swapped or donated on to other non-profit organizations so that all "find homes." As of January 2014, we have assisted 229 students with

621 textbooks and $9,600 in tuition scholarships. At the end of each semester, the textbooks are returned to a lending library in our Intercultural Center so that additional students in financial need can have access to them
