things you don’t see cause I come in 2 hours before we open to take care of them.

Thursday I came in and turned on the ACs Just to cut the heat enough where I wouldn’t die the next morning 😂. I ended up rearranging a section of the store. I work better alone, I have meetings with myself and I can move furniture around in my mind like some do with chess pieces. I’m just weird like that.

Today, 2 hours before we open, I was vacuuming the ACs because well let’s face it we don’t do it like we should and it wasn’t as nice inside as I had hoped it would be. Still cooler than outside.

But the work has to be done and noones got the funds to hire someone to do it for you. Small Business Owners are very skilled DIYers 😂. Well skilled may be the wrong word but damn do we learn a lot from doing it ourselves 🤪. Today I learned to turn off the AC before you pull out the filter or you get dust in your eyes…

Anyway the ACs are on and we are open today and tomorrow! Come shop a little and help me pay the electric bill 🙄.

This past weekend, you showed up for us.

You walked through our doors. You shopped our vendors. You found treasures, bought something handmade, chatted with us, brought your friends, and chose to spend a little of your hard-earned money at a small, local business.

And we noticed.
We felt it.
And we are incredibly grateful.

Behind every little corner of Ugly Glass & Co. are people who pour their creativity, time, money, and hearts into what they do. When you shop here, you aren’t just buying “stuff.” You’re helping a small business owner keep creating. You’re helping a maker pay a bill. You’re helping a vintage picker keep hunting.
