We have good news to share with everyone. D hwy has been reopened officially. They took the signs down today. So now you can travel north on D hwy from Far West Country Store. It only took them about 2 years to get the bridge done over shoal creek.

We are still open and have plenty of t-shirts and hoodies, hand painted ornaments and other ornaments, lots of great books with even some new books, hand made wool hats and baskets, nativityhand towels. I know we are out in the country but come help support us and visit the Temple site and feel the spirit. So bring you family and friends and have a wonderful day.

Great news the First presidency has just been reorganized with Dallin H. Oaks as president, Henry B. Eyring as First Counselor, and D Todd Christofferson as Second Counselor. Jeffery R. Holland as president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. It was done by special announcement at 2pm CDT from church headquarters. Have a beautiful and blessed day.

We here at the Far West Country Store are sad to hear about our dear friend Elder Blackburn passing away on Saturday the 23rd as he was serving a mission for our Lord out at the historic sites Adam-ondi-Ahman. Our condolences go out to the Blackburn family. We will miss visiting with him when he comes into the store.

Elder Brent Blackburn, a senior missionary from Helper, Utah, died in a mowing accident at the Church’s Adam-ondi-Ahman historic site in Missouri.
