ed one, we wanted to dress up in teal from head to toe while we helped raise money for Ovarian Cancer research. We spent hours online searching for teal race tutus, teal socks and other teal colored Ovarian Cancer Awareness clothing items only to come up short. We couldn’t find one place that offered everything we needed for our 5K fundraiser….and so, Skedaddle Outfitters was born. In our family we have had loved ones fight Lyme disease, breast cancer, colon cancer, ovarian cancer, lymphoma, Guillain-barre’ syndrome, mini strokes, diabetes, skin cancer, thyroid cancer, multiple sclerosis, heart disease, kidney disease, dementia and Alzheimers. In each case, our loved ones approached their diagnosis with grace, strength and resilience while they fought for their life. We lost three parents in less than two years and we understand how hard this kind of experience is. We want to use Skedaddle Outfitters to help others support their friends and family who are fighting their own health battles and help support those nonprofit groups that focus on research and education. Because of that, 25% of the profit from every order will be donated to a nonprofit group and can be picked at checkout. We currently offer our Color Kits in 8 colors: red, pink, purple, orange, green, lime green, blue and teal. These colors match the awareness color ribbons of a wide variety of causes and can work for silly fun runs as well. Our Color of Hope Color Kit includes 9 color matching race accessories and includes a plush feather boa, race tutu, funky knee high socks, two Color of Hope silicone bracelets, 2 beaded necklaces, a 20 oz water bottle and a bumper sticker in a vibrant drawstring backpack. These kits have everything you need, in just the right color, to dress up your 5K outfit in support or honor of a loved one.
