💛 We love Ingrid's project bags, and this batch is extra good! We have drawstring bags in two designs: tulips and doodles; snap bags in a cheery teal grid; and zippered bags in a bright pink!

💛 Last but DEFINITELY not least, created our exclusive colorway, Space Oddity. It's available in Adella's Wax Bean base, a fi*****ng weight blend of superwash merino and silk. I knit a shawl -- Aveya by -- with one skein, and the yarn and pattern are so gorgeous together.

The KC Yarn Crawl runs from Thursday, September 17 through Sunday, September 20. We can hardly wait to see y'all!

Our Saturday Makers at our Sidewalk Social (happening Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19) are a talented bunch of artists!

Here's who will be there on 🌟Saturday🌟:
creations - in addition to teaching embroidery at Yarn Social and other venues around KC, Anna makes embroidery art as well as DIY embroidery materials.

(aka Epigraph) - Anna's known for her tiny knives, and also makes jewelry and stitch markers, as well as cyanotype-dyed cross stitch fabric.

- Muriel's ceramic pieces are all one-of-a-kind, inspired by their love of nature; through their art they aim to convey a sense of comfort and wanderlust -- three cheers for that!
hariboo (aka Rachel Arato-Hrabko) - Rachel's a fiber artist whose current focus is on hand-loomed and -knit wool scarves, available in a bevy of unique colorways
art - in addition to designing incredible colorwork garments, Unity creates handmade ceramic buttons, yarn bowls, and stitch markers.

The highlight of the at Yarn Social is our Sidewalk Social, which features amazing local makers! This year, the Sidewalk Social happens Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19.

Here's who will be there on 🌟Friday🌟:

-- Jenna makes art and prints, hand-bound sketchbooks + comics, stickers, buttons, candles, and more.

- Alex creates custom cross stitch portraits and ornaments.

- KP uses natural dyes to create textiles like silk scarves, bamboo socks, and organic cotton tees; she also offers DIY silk bandana natural dye kits.

(aka Splice Artwork) - Nina prints their hand-drawn images using limestone and traditional printmaking processes.

Friends! Grab your project and join me at on Sunday, September 6 at noon for a conversation about Aran Knitting! I'll be at The Cottage at Patty's An Teach Beag (Little House) Stage!

Named for the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland, this knitting style features highly textured fabrics; the iconic cabled Irish Fisherman’s sweater (or jumper) is an example.

Did the classic style really originate on the Aran Islands-- or is Scotland in play?? We’ll find out!

Our friend Kim (of Kim Dyes Yarn fame) isn’t on IG but I wanted to share this with y’all. Her Dolly-inspired colorway, Coat of Many Colors, is having a moment. This was her colorway for Nash Yarn Fest and she’s offering preorders — with 15% of sales to Dolly’s Imagination Library !
