🗓️ This Thursday! Meet artist Hangama Amiri () and curator Amy Smith-Stewart () to celebrate the Kansas City opening of “Hangama Amiri: A Homage to Home!”

Afghan Canadian artist Hangama Amiri combines painting and printmaking techniques with textiles, weaving together stories based on memories of her homeland and diasporic experience.

Join us for a conversation between the artist, curator Amy Smith-Stewart (The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum) and assistant curator Krista Alba (Kemper Museum) to celebrate the opening of the artist’s first solo traveling exhibition.

Cash Bar Opens 5:30 p.m. | Artist talk 6 p.m. | Reception 7 p.m.
