KAUAʻI, WE’RE BACK! 🤙🏾❤️
After a long few days, we finally got our power back on, and we’re happy to say Hanapaa Kauai will be opening our doors again! 🤙🏾
Our online store is also available 24/7, and we’ll be able to continue fulfilling online orders for those who prefer to support from afar. 🙏🏽
Kauaʻi has been through a lot with Hurricane Lowell, and we know many families, businesses, and communities across the island have been deeply affected. While we’re thankful to see things slowly getting back on their feet, for many, the recovery is just beginning.
Now more than ever, supporting local makes a difference. Whether it’s shopping local, sharing a local business’ post, recommending a local shop to a friend, or simply pointing someone in the direction of a local business that can help — every little bit can go a long way. 🤙🏾❤️
A HUGE MAHALO to everyone who worked around the clock to help get Kauaʻi back up and running — especially the KIUC crews, first responders, county workers, road crews, delivery drivers, grocery stores, gas stations, and everyone who stepped up to help their neighbors.
We know it takes a lot of hard work behind the scenes to get our island moving again, and we truly appreciate everything you’ve done. 🤙🏾❤️
For those still without power, we want to help however we can.
We know places like Walmart, Target, and Home Depot may have cheaper options for lights and supplies, and we completely understand. But as a small local business, we’ll do our best to help where we can.
We’ll be offering special pricing on all our flashlights, lanterns, headlamps, and dive lights for those who may need them right now. 🔦
We may be a fishing store, but we’re also part of this Kauaʻi community. If there’s any way we can lend a hand during the recovery, we’re here to do our part.
Stay safe, look out for one another, and mahalo for supporting local.
KAUAʻI STRONG! 🙏🏽❤️🎣
